Bluewalks map of a neighborhood walk

This is a test of a service I recently heard of called bluewalk.com that lets you create walks or walking tours in various places, not unlike what I was doing with Google Maps for our recent Northern European trip.

This map is of a walk Chris and I took on our first day back from said trip, when we didn’t have any food at the house and didn’t want to jump back into work yet either. In terms of interactivity, Blue Walks offers essentially the same features and functionality as Google Maps (it’s built on top of Google Maps). You can view points of interest and read comments about them, but you cannot “step through” the walk as we took it. You cannot create a 5-staged walk or something. (And for a walk that is a loop, it’s not always clear in which direction the walk occurred). Now that would be a cool service.

    Hi Brynn

    I am bryan from bluewalks.

Thank you very much for your comment. I generally agree with your comments and find that the “stepping through” suggestion very useful.

If you have more comments, do send them to me :)

We just want to make travelling better. n_n

    Thanks :)

    Cheers
