In the last two days, we have witnessed the hummingbirds emerge from their shells (as “live” as possible without the help of a webcam). The first baby hatched sometime yesterday (Apr 12, 2009), the second one today (Apr 13, 2009)! Welcome to the world little ones!
Baby #1 has hatched (only one egg is broken, although the photo didn’t come out great).
Here’s a clearer picture of the pair of babies, both less than one day old! What helpless little things!

Wow, these look very cool. It somehow reminded me of those Balut Eggs in the Philippines. I seemed nasty, but man, once tasted, always wanted. Hehe
