Some 2nd and 3rd graders in a “mini-laptop club” sketched out laptop keyboards on construction paper and pretended to email each other (ref). How cute! The keyboard layout is interesting to observe—big emphasis on pets, entertainment, and shopping. I love the *huge* open and close buttons! Maybe designers should take some advice from these kids on what affordances to provide in user- (and kid-) friendly laptops
